I was never a fan of trying to update to the look of the "newer" car. Ricey.

Default Interestingly, if you swap between the D2 and D3 images you'll notice how the

D3, from that angle, is more of a natural evolution of the D2 shape. Or, that huge horseshoe is playing games with your perception...

Yup, might as well buy a D3! I think the D2 body style is more timeless anyways.

Default I think the new facia fits the big A8/S8, but is disproprionate on the A3/A4, even A6.

On the flip side, the older style is more becoming on the A3/A4 and probably too tame on the D2 A8/S8. Perhaps only the new TT has incorporated the new facia better than any of the 2005+ vehicles, possibly due to the overall shape of the vehicle. Maybe the Le Mans too.

In my opinion, da Silva is going in the wrong direction with the horseshoe and Audis with it will quickly get out of fashion (they will either tire or a new trend wil sweep them by). They're unlikey to be considered 'classic' designs in 10yrs time.

Default It just looks fine on the picture but I do not think

Is gonna look nice on the car. I agree with all of you that what we got is much nicer.
