Default How to deactivate headlight indicator in instrument cluster?

See attached photo. So every time I put my headlights on at night, this little green indicator appears in my instrument cluster. No big deal right... it's just that I find it to be annoying and I prefer not to have it. Like, yeah I know my headlight are on because my headlights are on, and I prefer a cleaner looking instrument cluster at night.

Does anyone know how to deactivate this thing? I have Vag-Com but I'm not the most familiar with it. Thank you!!

I could be wrong but I doubt it is variable through VAGcom. I think that light is mandatory in some regions.

If you find it distracting, you can probably pull the cluster, find the bulb, and remove it. Or put tape over it.

No way it's mandatory. I have several cars German and domestic from 90s up to 2010s and none of them have this.

Hello there. I speak from unfortunate experience with D2 clusters: That indicator is the very very VERY least of your worries in regards to our clusters. To put it bluntly; when the cluster dies, that indicator light will never cross your mind again.

edit: in other words, count your blessings that the cluster is even working.
