I have a burned out Xenon, just ordered two new ones and need to install them. It doesn't look like the standard "pull and plug". I've searched this site and can't seem to find much. Anyone changed out a Xenon bulb in the o'l A8 before?

Facelift is pull and plug - assume same on pre-liftage.

You need a set of tamperproof torx sockets. Remove box on rear of light fixture, drop at least 1 bolt each side, and twist locking ring off and pull bulb straight out. install w/o touching. Pass side remove air cleaner box first, then same as drivers side. I learned to live with fewer than the correct amount of torx screws, as some are now on the belly pan.
