My warranty rep needs busines, so he called me with some decent prices.

I usually make about $800 on a long-term (expensive) warranty. For last GP, I did it for about $150 over my cost to cover paperwork, fax, mail, DHL, etc., and then got the price further reduced by about $300 per warranty for a 10 person GP.

To make long story short, 10 people committed, only six paid, and I hosed myself by honoring original 10 person price because I{ felt guilty trying to explain to everyone that the original price quoted was no longer valid. Oh well, live and learn.

This time, I only need six people to get the price ($250 less than normal). Various coverage plans and terms available. Prices are specific to car/miles/etc, so post here if seriously (please no tire kickers!) interested only.

If you see six positive replies to this post in total, then each person should email me at brucem105_AT_comcast.net. Subject should read "AudiWorld Extended Warranty GP", and in body of email please include your year, model, and mileage.

I will get back to you with at least two plans you qualify for, with prices, terms, and options.

It's through Great Lakes. I have two of their warranties on my own cars with my own money. They are tough but fair, and pay what they say they will pay, usually within 48 hours. They have been around 12 years, with 38 employees, with tens of millions of dollars per year in revenue. In short, they are not some three-person internet company in a bedroom.

Thanks, and just so it's all above-board please note I will include $200 profit for myself on each warranty to cover costs and time...last time it nearly killed me.

Any worries on sending money to a stranger, there are a few guys on here that will vouch for me.

Even my wrench said they were decent to work with. Got me next round of claims all lined up already I do heh heh. Heck I think I soaked the one on my former UrS6 for $6k before I ran out of miles (3/36) - these are *unlimited mileage* - MUWHAAHAhahahahaaa...

As far as Bruce goes, well he's DA MAN dontchyaknow. While we've strangely not met yet (see you f'n 8/25 Bruce you asshat!) I've "known" him from the S-List since '02 - great guy.

As far as the GP goes - gollygeewillikers was that last GP a real PITA. All you clown punchers who bagged out last minute need not apply this time round. Hopefully this GP goes smoother for you B...
