under that link you can see other side too
I've never had a problem with the shade, so have never looked for the module before...and I'm a glutton for punishment...so here ya go >>>

This took like 3 minutes to find and have access to: Inside the car, pull the cover behind on the hat shelf behind the shade...it pops right out (and snaps back in) in one piece...#8 in the drawing below.

The module is right there (see arrow) to the left of the brake light.

My assumption that the motor reverses rather than a purely mechanical reverse in direction, is the conspicuous lack of any "limit" switches in the assembly or in any wiring diagram. This isn't exactly explained in the manual. For all I know, the little transmission in the shade motor (most likely only for gear reduction for more torque) may have some built-in mechanical self reversing function...I dunno, but think it's more likely an electrical reverse of the motor, since ground and hot wire both come out of the module and are not color coded in diagrams.

If yours is manually stuck, the motor's mounting is adjustable (slides left-right) to keep equal "push/pull" on both arms of the shade.

I'm confident you will let us know what you discover.

If it turns out be a more involved problem, requiring removal of the shade, that WILL involve pulling the entire hat shelf...MUCH more involved. In that case, buy yourself an ELSAWIN manual...I know those are available over there on eBay. I am not gonna post my entire Bentley manual online.

YOU'RE WELCOME

HOW? WHY? ... but ok ... it's working ... I hope longer than my happieness for exercising another demon from it....

It is just stuck. Carefully pry it up with a flathead screwdriver and lubricate the rails and edges of the top of the screen gently

Wow. I never thought to lube the rails! Thanks. Mine used to get caught a lot, and I would pry it the way you mentioned. Works very well 98% of the time.
