Did anybody removed oil pump from transmission before?
I just started to remove old oil pump from the transmission and after taking out 6 bolts (T-27) right in the front of the tranny, I stuck. There is seems to be two more bolts (lower 2) but they may be capped with some sort of plug? I thought it would be easier than that. What do I need to do to get to the pump? What tools should I use. Tozo probably well familiar with the procedure after taking few A8 trannys apart. Thanks.

Here you go.
Before you do anything, put something straight across the bell housing and measure the main shaft from that straight edge. I think it is 1 1/4", but I am not sure)
Take out the 3 bolt on the driver's side holding the output flange housing.

Pull out the flange, it's a long shaft, look like this.

Now if you look into the opening, you will see a circlip, take it out.(it is difficult)
When it is out, there is a tube inside, pull it out.
Now you need a long magnet. Put it in the hole. Get a 10mm socket with an extension and from the front to the back punch the two plug in. They will go in fairly easy. Now you can remove the last 2 screws for the pump. With the magnet you can take out the 2 lug and the 2 screws.
Now you you can pull the pump. You can make a pump puller like this. Be careful not to damage the shaft.

It is possible, that the clutch A-B will come out too. If not, just go ahead recheck the shat distance from the bell housing. If the distance is a same as it was before, you can install the new pump. DO NOT TRY TO DISASSEMBLE THE PUMP.
Good luck!

Thanks tozo!
almost got it out (I had to remove passanger side output flange since the tube would not come out easy). Just dont have a right tubing material around garage, will make puller tommorow. Looks like I need 1 1/4" some kind of a pipe with a thin walls for a job. Just at a first glance inside looks like tranny been rebuild. All seals are brand new, some virgin grease on the gears too, there is a presence of a transmission fluid as well. This is makes me think that PRT dyno tested or was trying to dyno test rebuild transmission (otherwise it would be bone dry).
I know everybody on this forum is suggesting to despute CC charge and seek for refund. This is not an option for me, I called my Visa and they said they will do nothing about it, my fault, and they "really" sorry about what happened. Unfortunatelly I stuck with those morons from Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions. Either way I have to make that tranny work, or spend $5k more for another one.
I just hope all other guys on this forum will learn from my mistake so it never happens to them, I would not reccomend PRT even to my enemy.

Hey, don't mention it.
If you accidentally pull the clutches too, don't worry. You will need to put it back before you put the pump. Put it in and turn it until it engages all the clutches. This is where the measuring comes handy.
