Interiors switch trim pieces 2001 Audi S8
Just purchased an immaculate condition 52k S8 with black Alcantera interior. The only issues with the car is that the previous owners wife wore a watch that has chewed up the plastic (not wood) trim around the door handle which also includes the window and mirror switches (all one piece). I can't seem to locate these parts if they are available or if not anyone who can refinish them. Can anyone help? I'd love to make this time capsule perfect!

Hello mate,
Try A8parts.co.uk - they also have an Ebay store (A8parts)
Also there's a wrecker called Shoaken or something similar in the 'states that specialise in Audi and have many A8 parts.

Part # for piece you're looking for: 4D1959522H
ECS Tuning has a new one for $205.83. Chat with them online to make sure you order the right color code. http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/4d1959522h/
Sounds like you got a nice one! : )

I want one that shows how to refinish the textured surface on the lower B-pillar and the door scuff panels when they have a crappy sticky lifting paint surface on them, without sanding them smooth!
I watched an episode of Dream Car Garage where they refinished a Mustang interior and used a Scotch pad for the textured surface (roughens for new paint adherence without removing the texture), but with that crappy sticky finish I have, I'm not sure how to tackle it...
