Car Wash -- The Final Result [edited]
As you y'all may recall, my car looked like this when I bought it recently...

Now it looks much better after I washed, Scratch-Xed to rid most of the swirls and mild scratches, hand-buffed another layer of Meguairs Deep Crystal Polish, hand-buffed a layer of Meguairs Deep Crystal Carnouba Wax, and hand-buffed (back and arms burning by now) a layer of Eagle1 Nanowax. The tires and plastic trim, e.g. front/side/rear valance were sprayed with Black Magic High Gloss Tire Spray. Also notice the the white powder residue on the ground around the covered parking area? That's cat/dog repellent. I grew tired of cats sleeping on the hood of the car and leaving paw prints everywhere. It's working so far.

This last photo shows you what a little errant stone thrown up by some truck, then bouncing off the road and hitting it at just the right spot can do to your side window. The arrow shows where it hit and how the crack started from there. Not too worried about it -- the glass is multi-layered anyway.

Sorry about the weather over there...
...we here in North Cali had pretty wet February. Forecasters said the rest of the week was going to be sunny, so I thought it was time for a good wash.

I have to say that the paint quality on D2s...
...are freakin' lustrous. It's seems deep and thick at the same time. A lot of consideration went into producing such great quality paint on this particular car.

Re: Nano?
How has it been holding up? I bought some years ago and tried it. It was very easy to apply, but when it rained a few days later, the water beading paled in comparison to what I was normally using, Zymol Carbon. In fact, I had to HD Cleanse and it off and redo with Zymol a week or so later. It seemed like it didn't do much as far as protecting the paint. I did try Nanowax again on another car, but got the same results.

I use it on my 99. I've found that after I wash I rewax with the Nano spray. It's like a finisher.
The hand rubbed wax lasts longer because after every wash I rewax. It's real easy, just spray and wipe.
