I am trying to source an ABS sensor for a 98 2.8 saloon from a UK source - any ideas?

vagparts.com for cheaper new parts or all audi.co.uk or fourringspares.co.uk for 2nd hand parts. Also your might try want to post in www.Tyresmoke.net in the A8 forum where there are more brits and 2.8 models because I dont think the states had any 2.8 models to begin with.
Ps are you sure your abs sensor is completely gone? I.e they suffer from the broken wire syndrome as shown on Paul W's Audipages. I know cos. I've just fixed mine on my 2.8 sport.

I have had it cleaned once at the dealer and they said if it went again it would need replaced but to be honest I don't know. A mate of mine is going to have a look so I will mention the wire thing.

Found a broken wire in above the sensor and spliced in a new section of wire and waterproofed it. saved myself about $150 on a new sensor..
