PPF for grill radar sensors?
Going in a few days to get full front PPF, paint correction and ceramic. Has anyone installed either PPF or ceramic on the 2 radar sensor boxes located within the grill? If so, any changes in sensitivity?

So, I'll just have them ceramic coated and at least they have some protection.
Later!

its fine to do ppf. Radar passes through it.
Just don't do it with your lidar sensors as ppf interferes with 904/995nm wavelength.

Not recommended to put PPF over radar sensors. While the radio waves will pass through, the fact that it has to pass through two different materials will cause refraction that could degrade the signal and even cause issues. Audi even made a stink about having PPF on my rear bumper. The side assist in my '13 RS5 had a known issue that it would deactivate itself if stuck in traffic too long and there was a software fix for it, but Audi refused to install it, because I had PPF on the bumper that could interfere with the radar sensors behind it.

You are correct, they just look similar. I ended up not wrapping them, but I did ceramic coat them which makes it easy to clean them. No issues.
