Default How to hide front plate mount holes on 2022 A7

Hello, I am new to this forum as I just got my 2022 A7 prestige. In the state I live, we don’t need to mount a front license plate. I wonder what the best way is to fill/cover them so the front of the car doesn’t look like something missing? I remember older/other Audis have a part to fill this piece but haven’t found any for my A7. Any help is appreciated.

The sales guy I dealt with when I got my 22 A7 told me there’s no kit for this. I’m looking for black screws big enough to fill the holes but no luck yet.

Thanks. That’s what my sales guy told me too that I have to be creative and find something from Home Depot to fill it lol It is matter of putting a screw in with a matte black screw cap but I was hoping someone has come up with a more elegant solution

I’m looking at the auto parts stores that have large matte black screw hardware. Some bigger for trucks. I checked out AutoZone with no luck. Will check out the others.

What I did was to remove the 2 brackets by putting a screwdriver in the center opening and give it a tap and each one comes out in 2 pieces there is no damage and they can be re-installed if need be. I hope this helps.

I took this picture of the brackets, which just snap together.

Thanks for the tip and sharing the photos. Do you have a photo of how front of the car looks with these removed by any chance to share?

also when you put the screwdriver in, in what direction do you give it a tap?

Didn't have the guts to do it myself so went to the dealer for another reason but asked about it and it took the technician a few mins to take them out. Super happy with how clean it looks now in the front! Thank you @midnite c for the tip that this is removable
