Does it feel like the Roof is transferring a lot of heat?
I had a 2016 Havana Black A7 and now I have a 2019 Daytona Grey. We live in Dallas, so right now its unbearably hot. The last week or 2 as the temp has got up around 100, when I get in the car and drive it in the sun after it's been outside, it feels like the space my head occupies stays noticeably warm. I don't recall this being the case with my 2016. I wonder if the new design of the sunroof doesn't create as much of a thermal barrier as the old one.

Too true. Unfortunately, almost every car on the lot here has a sunroof/pano. I never use mine, even have a piece of neoprene between the glass and cover.

You can order any Q5 or SQ5 without a moonroof if you are willing to wait. My dealer, Audi South Orlando, had 75 Q5's and 10 SQ5's in stock when I bought mine. They had 1 Q5 and 1 SQ5 in stock without the moonroof. I bought the SQ5. I am surprised that in Florida dealers don't keep more moonroof-delete cars in stock. I didn't want the heat, leaks and loss of structural stiffness along with the extra weight you get with a panoramic moonroof
