Lately my nav screen has been acting strange when retracting while the car is shutting down. It shudders/vibrates occasionally.

Ran the scan and found:

When the first A8s came out with the motorized screens awhile back, after a period of time the plastic gear would break. It's been reported that Audi redesigned the part (metal?) since so it's likely not your issue. Seems to be an intermittent connection somewhere judging from the fault report. I may have missed something but I haven't seen anything over on the A6/S6 forums on the screen yet. It's warranty time.

Thanks. I haven't seen anyone posted anything similar. It doesn't bother me that much, maybe I will remind the dealer when I bring the car in for service.... Or I can just take out the screen and see what's going on behind the screen. I do have Elsawin...

Yup, experienced this issue on my D3 A8. It did not throw a code when it occurred.

I had this happen on my 2012 A7 about a year ago. Took it in for service, they reloaded the software (so I was told) and it has been fine ever since.

I have experienced the same thing on mine, on the way up the screen is fine, but on the way down the screen always judders.

Took the car in the Audi and show them a few rattles, including: -
- Indie the driver door (near the metal door opening handle)
- Instrument cluster sometimes squeaks depending on road conditions
- Screen issue described here
- and a few other things

And they ordered a few parts and fixed them all.

If I have the parts list I will post later.

Is it possible to lock the car from the outside while the engine is running using VCDS?

Also, has anyone figured out how to activate the backup camera at higher speed, much like video in motion?

i have experience this only once since I got my '13 in March. I just reset the MMI and did not have any more issues, not sure if there is a correlation or not.

Default Audi A7 Display

My A7 display used to studder coming out and back into the dash. I took it to the dealership while it was under warrenty and they replaced it for free. They also did a software update. The service guy said they were aware of the issue with other vehicles.
