Tinting on the new A7
Has anyone tinted his/her new A7 yet? Is the back panel under the 'boot' easily removable? I most likely will be picking up my white prestige with 20" wheels next week and the first thing I am going to do is to tint the windows. Thanks.

Getting my A7 tomorrow and will be tinting it next week. I will also tint the amber side markers and likely debadge the rear but not sure.
Yes, the panels behind the rear seats are removable. My Phantom Black came with dark fabric on these panels fortunately. If they had been the light color, I would have had them redone in dark fabric so the back window reflection would be minimized.
Finally I plan to add the rear quad exhaust tips by ABT. Turns out that the stock A7 mufflers have dual outlets but one is welded closed. Go ahead and take a peek yourself, it is true. I will have a local welder cut the plugs out and weld on the ABT quad tail outlets for a unique look and better flow. Then onto the Stasis chip this summer when it comes out. My own DIY S7!

gopd luck with new car.
i found that with the Abt tips that they didn't fit on my A8! My fitter just got rid of the rear boxes and put in a couple of three and a half inch tips each side (but as i have diesel, it's not as extreme as a petrol).
the other thing was that it took about 3 months to get my bits from Abt. hopefully, as the a7 has been out here in europe for a while, the parts are in fact being manufactured and not some showcase item for a motorshow.
i look forward to seeing the pics ...... thinking about the same change on our new a6 due in a few weeks.

Looks Good. I won't be tinting myself as this very subjective.
(In my case, when I worked in Saudi my Company, Sabic Petrochemicals,
paid for tinting expats' cars when Al Quaida were active--just before 36 people killed
in 3 Compound bombing one night---then we left.!)
