Default Recommended Tire pressure for 19" sport option/w Summers

Delivery next month; on previous Audi's w/Sport option I usually did 38 or 40 all around or, 38 front, 40 rear.

Your thoughts?

Of course, the roads here in SoFlo are far more forgiving than they were in the tristate NYC area, where one 3" pothole disguised by slush could take out a wheel and tire in a NY second.

Why not you go with Audi's recommendation? You'll find them on the driver's door jamb.

Pressures on the door are for maximum load in the car. Pressures on the tires are for the maximum load on the tire.

Use the chart in the owners manual.

Go with 2.6 front and 2.3 back as the A7 is very un-balanced. It is very light on the rear axle, hence the aileron coming out at high speeds.

2.6 front and 2.3 rear is what Audi recommends for low-medium load(driver and one passanger and their luggage) on 19's.

EDIT:

If you use PSI, instead of Bar, it would be

37.7 Front and 33.4 Rear

Thanks for the input...on my extended (solo) test drive I did a number of off ramps at between 45 and 50 mph and didn't notice the tail coming around.

Anyone else experience this?
