New 2015 A7 owner with question regarding optimum tire pressure
Hi everyone... just picked up my new 2015 Audi A7, and had a quick question regarding both the factory recommended, and user experience regarding the best tire pressure settings for normal everyday use.
Trying to get used to the ride, but any feedback based on actual experience, will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all in advance.
Just some photo's to illustrate the 20" black optic package and wheels. BTW I did remove the rear Audi badging.
Regards,
JK

The recommended pressure for the 20s is something like 38 front and 41 rear. That is probably for safety reasons with the short sidewalls.

Check the manual. You will learn alot from it that you didn't know about. I was surprised at the difference in max and normal loads for my Audi A8L in regards to the tire pressure. The door sill is max pressure for heavy loads and not recommended at all times when you have only 1 person (you) or another person in the car. The tire will wear more in the rear (center) due to overinflation and under-load. I had this issue on the D3 and D4 Audi A8 so I dropped my pressure to 36 from and 33 rear on my 19 inch rims and I am getting better ride and tire wear.
The A7 partial load pressure is 36/32 front/rear.

Be thankful Audi still provides comprehensive tire inflation information in the Owner's Manual. They are one of the only mfrs doing so.
In the USA: B pillar label displays MAX LOAD ONLY

My inclination is to agree with Baloo588, and go with something less than the max load and pressures. It will be extremely rare that I have 3 or 4 people in the car, so setting for 2 and minimal cargo makes the most sense for me. Now finding out what that translates to might just take a little trial and error, but thanks again for a good starting range.
