Default Made the jump!

I placed the order for a 2015 A7 TDI yesterday, trading my 2012 A7 after driving it for a few days short of 3 years.

The new one will be Ice Silver with all available options except the night vision, standard 19" wheels.

My wife is looking forwards to the 16 way adjustable massage seats.

The only fly in the ointment is that my dealer needs the trade in car immediately. They will give me a loaner car to use while we are waiting for the new A7 - a Buick Regal

Just be careful she isn't spending too many late nights out in the garage.

The comfort (massage) seat is available in the 2015 A7? It used to be only in the S7. Good to know. Is the alcantara headliner available too?

I have had mine for 3 years as well. Won't be getting another car anytime soon....

Remember, I am in Canada and the options as well as the base configuration is completely different from the USA models.

Black headliner is only available as part of the S-line package.

Here is the Canadian order Guide:

I have driven my son's diesel A5 in Europe and was impressed with the fuel economy and the start/stop function. Since it is now available in Canada in the A7, I have decided to go for it. I have a feeling I will hang onto this one for a longer period (will probably buy the longest, most comprehensive warranty extension when the standard warranty is about to run out).

Default It's off the boat!

My new A7 has been offloaded in Halifax from the ship on the 20th. Next is a train ride to Toronto.

If lucky, I will see it in a week.

Hopefully you are able to sleep between now and then.. its like the longest Christmas Eve ever when you know its made landfall.

Enjoy and drive the snot out of it when you get behind the wheel. I still have a huge smile every time I get in mine.

It has arrived, picked it up last night. Only drove it for an hour or so, it is great. I really like the engine start-stop function.

Will give further reports with a few more miles behind me.
