Heated steering wheel
#11
So I've noticed that my heated steering wheel doesn't get all that, well, heated. My wife has a new grand Cherokee with heated steering and it gets nice and toasty. The A7 wheel you can kinda feel (barely)warm just a bit in a couple places, but nothing like the jeep, which is almost like holding a warm cup of coffee.
Any of you notice the same, or should I have them check it out?

It's been in the low twenties this week, and the stupid steering wheel does not really heat up. It get's warm, and then cools off quite quickly.
I have a recollection is felt warmer last winter, maybe it gets worse over time. Regardless, not very happy with it at the moment.
If anyone finds a way to change it or gets feedback from a dealer, please let me know

While it would be preferable if the heat level wasn't tied to the cabin interior temp, the biggest annoyance for me is they didn't provide a DIS indicator light to show if it's on. Considering the level of tech in the C7, it's really surprising you have to push a button to see if something's activated.
