Default Have you driven your A7 in the snow yet?

We had our first snow of the year. Had to take the A7 out and test it today. It handled the snow like it was nothing. Audi Excellence for sure! My car has Blizzaks on 20's.

Those blizaks make all the difference, I went in the snow with the summers, not the way to go.

What size tires did you put on?

I knew it was 20" -......

I wanted to know the actual tire dimensions. Has to be 255/35/20 since that is the only size Bstone makes in the Blizzak.,

Yes they are 255/35/20. They cost about $1500 in Alaska. Not an easy size to find in stock at local stores.

I'm just curious.... Did you have any issues with snow accumulation on the rear windshield? I have been wondering if the slope of the rear window and lack of a rear windshield wiper will be an issue. I would imagine at speed it's a non-issue but in slow moving (stop and go) traffic with heavy down fall, snow might accumulate.

I just got Continental DWS 265/35 ZR 20. I had the DWS on my BMW X6 last winter and they are the BEST all-weather tire made.

Yes unless you clear all the snow off the roof and rear window before you drive off it collects in a wide V shape on the rear window. It blocks all of your vision out of the window. The rear window defroster will clear it but it takes a while to clear.
