Slower the better. Just completed my round trip return to Florida. Pushed 80 several times to see if spoiler really deploys or not. Well it didn't and had to manually deploy. However, it would retract on its own as compared to when manually deploy at less than 80 and then have to hit switch again to retract it. As for mileage this time still got about 32.0 with average speed of 75 and pushed it to 80 at Daytona (route 95 and not the track ). Then dropped precipitously to 28.5. Entire trip was adaptive cruise so not a lead foot issue.

FYI... The spoiler automatically deploys at 83.9 mph (135Kmh). You were almost there . It then automatically retracts when your speed drops below 55mph.

Just completed a long round-trip Colorado to Alberta, Canada. 2850 miles, western highways with 70-75 mph speeds. Consumed 91.253 gallons for an average of 32.23 miles per gallon for the trip. Oh yeah, I had the tail up quite a few times during passes.

Speed is tempting. A7 Beckons to be driven.
I've tried to opt for better milage rather than speed. But the temptation for speed is too great. There really has to be someone else in the car with me to put me at ease and drive peacefully. The A7 beckons to be driven.
I'm content knowing the A7 can provide great gas milage, but I'm only satisfied when I truly let her loose. I have a long commute and with my A7 it is fun!
If I'm not going to "drive" it, might as well drive my other car.
I do like the high milage, but the A7 has so much more to appreciate.

Not sure whats more impressive:
- you having the energy and time to take a picture of the dash after the long trip, or
- you driving for 12 hours/ 780 miles, while only sticking to a average of 63 mph - not sure I could do that , then I live in the UK
Nice one
