I just wanted to check with folks on this board about ordering their A7. I placed an order earlier this week, and was told 90-days to deliver? I'm a bit surprised, given that I'm ordering the regular A7. My dealer (NJ based) has looked around without success for the particular options I've specified.

Can anyone share their wait times from order to delivery?

I've been lurking in these boards, the MB boards, and the bimmerfest boards for quite some time. Even test drove the 535Xi, E350, CPO A7, new A7, prior gen CLS, etc!

I ordered my A7 on July 22nd and it was delivered Monday October 28th.

Thanks all. Looks like 90+ days is normal. I take it Audi is either trying to maintain low volumes on this car or they are using most of their production capacity on their A6!

Either ways, I can't wait to get the car. Saw the car up close at the NYC autoshow earlier this year and have not been able to forget it ever since.

Just about any Audi model that is ordered takes about 90 days, give or take a week or two. It can take less if a dealer uses an allocation and can adjust the options, color, etc. as it's just about to be built. My dealer did this last year - order was placed May 23 and delivered on July 5 to MA. Which port and how far your dealer is from there can make a difference as well. Audi uses Davisville, RI, Brunswick, GA, Houston, TX and San Diego, CA. For Canada it's Halifax, NS. Obviously, it takes longer for the boat to get to Houston and especially San Diego from Emden, Germany than the East Coast ports.

I think every response you get will be around 90 days. I ordered mine on 22 April, production week was 17-21 June, and took delivery on 9 July - and I live in Italy. Even if I had been eligible for Euro Delivery, I wouldn't have driven it much earlier than 9 July.

I am in the same boat as Minhaz. Long time lurker here but pulled the trigger and ordered my A7 TDI Daytona Gray w/ all black interior mid October. Still waiting for the Release to Production but can't wait for the car to be here!!
