2013 A7 Knocking/Rattle Sound at Slow Speed
When I drive on rough pavement at slow speed (10MPH or less) I can hear a knocking or rattling sound coming from the front passenger side behind the glove box. It could be in the engine compartment or part of the suspension- I can't really tell. At higher speeds, I suspect the noise is still there but is drowned out by road and wind noise.
I've emptied the glove box to make sure it wasn't something rattling around in there. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what it might be?

I have that as well.. Mine sounds like a heavy rubber ball bouncing on plastic. Its got a very distinct sound. I hear it a lot on rough pavement, and when I leave work the lot is gravel, so I really hear it then. Does your noise sound similar?
I have had a few issues with noise on the passenger side. When Im playing music at moderately loud levels, the bass vibrates something on the door panel. You can even hear from outside of the car when playing music fairly loud.
Audi of Charlotte replaced all speakers in the door thinking something wasnt right there, but to no avail. Still there.
I also had a popping noise on the interior side of the Passenger pillar. Anytime the car flexed, go over uneven ground, or U turns for instance. They corrected that issue just fine(not sure what they did).
Got off track a little bit, but seems my whole front passenger side had noise issues.

I have the same noise coming from the same vicinity (front right). I hear it pulling out of the driveway at low speed every day (paver brick) - 1st world problem!
Of course the dealer could not replicate. I may try another dealer. The fact that the 3 of us have a similar issue might mean there is an A7 flag on file?
I would like to think so...

Thanks for the link. Control arm makes a lot of sense. This is my third Audi and all them needed multiple control arm replacements within the warranty period so I'm embarrassed that I didn't think of that on my own.
