Default 19 " tires for A-7

I I have a 12 A-& and need new tires. OEM were Goodyear but they only lasted 24k. Any suggestions as to replacements. I like a smooth ride with little road noise. I thought the Goodyears were a little slippery in rain. I use Winter tires for snow. Thanks

Bill, my Goodyears are better than expected so far. Quiet, good grab when wet although not much cornering grip. However, I've read they go downhill fairly quickly as you have found.

Assuming you want an all season tire rather than a summer tire . . .

Two I have researched recently with top Tire Rack reviews:

Pirelli Cinturato P7 (Performance All Season)

Hankook Ventus S1 Noble 2 (Ultra High Performance All Season)

Also, the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S/3 has its fans and good reviews although some reports here that they are loud.

I had to replace the Goodyear Eagle OEM's at 28,000 miles on my 2012 A7; they were worn out. I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3, and I'm happy I did. They are a lot quieter than the OEM, and I like the new grip and feel of them, much better. I live on a gravel road in Colorado, and I want an A/S tire which I run year around.
