Cigarette lighter relocation project.
I made this for my Concert install I have planned. The lighter housing is from an A6 (thanks Dave!), but I trimmed it down a bit. I didn't want to put the lighter in the stock A6 location unless I have to because I put my ipod there. Here is what I came up with...
Yes, there is a reason it isn't centered! It's so my big cellphone can fit in there while it's charging...

You can still see my old hardwired cellphone charger in these first pictures. It worked great but since I only designed it so my charger cord wouldn't stretch as far and get pulled from the socket I won't need it anymore.

Everything is plastic welded together, no bondo or fiber glass here! I did use some filler putty (red stuff) to smooth out the minor defects though.

The first coat of primer is on it, the final product will be satin black to match the interior.

That is all, here's a bonus of my taillights in daylight, masked with the power of salt and sand!
