Was quite surprised that Audi gave me $24k for it, but I sure ain't complaining. Sad to see it go, but it had it's time.
Now I'm trying to decide between a 545i, 535d and a 745i. The options in the 745i are simply astounding.
Thanks for all the assistance here, it's been great (Cue that music as Dr Banner walks away down the road from the Hulk TV show :-)

more interior comfort/space. not to mention they look much better have all wheel drive, have a better power to liter ratio, more fuel efficient, aluminum space frame.... shall i go on? lol

I've test driven a few 545i, 535d and 745i over the last week and I've got my mind set on a BMW this time (for car number 23). I'm already thinking that my car number 24 (in a year or two's time) will be an A5/S5. I've set my budget at about $45k during the current search. I've got a 2004 545i fully loaded black/black with only 30,000 miles well in budget that I drove yesterday. Those air-cooled seats are awesome.  I'd get atleast a 2005+ with nav option.
I must be black on black ! It's my dream car that now within my budget. I may wait for the new S6 when they come down to the low 40's
