Bay Area" A6 gathering/drive on Saturday 3 Nov. (Yes, I've forgotten everyones names ALREADY - Doh!!!)
I "crashed" the event in my allroad (as well as alibaba in his) and it was SO NICE to be welcomed by such GREAT people! This is the second event I have attended "sponsored" by people from these forums and I feel very lucky to be amongst such kind and friendly Audi fans!... A special thanks to Ali for loaning me a radio...
Between mini-vans packed to the brim, joggers darting into the middle of the road, bicyclists thinking they were the only ones on the planet, I managed to bring up the back end of a 10+ "A6" convoy! There is absolutely nothing more stunning than driving through the California Redwoods and past the mighty Pacific Ocean - we are lucky indeed!

We had a great crew out there, except for the cranky Ranger that didn't like us parking in the middle of the last lot. Sheesh. Ticket this!

Thanks for coming out with us! I'll have a couple pics up soon...more (and video) early in the week.
Had a fantastic time; a particularly huge thanks to Stoney for mapping out a spectacular and fun route (and for leading us through it, quite quickly at times!). Quite an adventure drifting a 4200 lb. quattro 'round the bends....whew!
I hope we can find another date to rendevous again soon. Say what: I'll pick the date and then hand off the process from there.

If it's not too much to ask....
I would be WAY stoked if I could be emailed directly with any photos or sent a disk (floppy) with any pics vial snail-mail. I'll pay for the shipping! 8-)

Well, true, we weren't within the lines... or anywhere near them! But the row of A6s plus the requisite Alfa looked quite impressive to drivers coming around that corner, I'm sure.
