Confession: I'm a "re-badger!"
So, I began to think that the badges on the rear of my car didn't seem properly in proportion. The 4.2 on the right is so small compared to the A6 on the left. But, I don't really like "de-badging" a car.
Having followed the R8 LeMans races for the last 2 years, I came to like the Audi Sport logo (red trapezoid with rings). But, I don't believe in "posing" such as putting an S6 badge on an A6. I just want to show the colors.
I then saw the AoA A6 at the LeMans publicity event in San José, and it occurred to me that I could... well, just see the pics below:

In Germany an "option" when ordering an Audi is the emblem (badging) for the bonnet and/or boot?
You can specify how you'd like it or opt not to have it at all...
Note the pictures above of my A6 and allroad - I have removed some emblems while adding others. I purchased the European number plate surround for both vehicles when I was overseas as well as a myriad of emblems - I have since had a lot of fun confusing other Audi motorists here on California motorways! 8-)

Very Cool...
I'd wear that. A touch of class. So were can one get this "Sport Logo" thanks..... If you are still looking for some high end audio equip. Lookup a place in Santa Cruz Call LOTT'S AUTO STEREO (family owned and operated, 16+ years). The owners name is Ron. If he can't help you it probable doesn't exist. A business colleague and I use him all the time.

It's an S4 badge, sawed, filed, painted the edge...
Thanks for the tip on Lott's Auto Stereo. I'll check them out. Lott's Auto Stereo: 600 Pacific Ave., SC 408-423-1100.

What's your commute route? We like to drive 9 past Skyline, then...
turn up a couple of "grades" and down Bonnie Doon to the beach. Then back on 84 or on the pass through Pescadero.

That's A Nice Ride...
Up and down through the mountains. Mostly stay on hwy 17 & hwy 1. I've learned that our fAAAt boys don't like super sonic speeds around some of those tight back and forth twisteez coming over hwy 9, even in tip mode. Better suited for a lighter, smaller car. There not exactly a race car, but a helluva lot of FUN to drive. It takes me about 35-40 mins with traffic. Once the rain hits I can easily add an hour to an hour and a half to that commute (people don't know to JUST SLOW DOWN some)
