This picture is from when I worked on Jmacs4.2 signal stalk (tech article). It looks like there is a slot on the top and sides of the female part of the clockspring where the wire goes, and the male end of the wire connector has a little "teeth" that locks it into the slots. I am assuming that you tried to release the top tooth while squeezing the side tabs???



Worse case scenario, we can work on this some more on Saturday. I am more worried that you are missing some critical wires. What are the other two wires for???
