I'm not going to slide the front to service position. I am trying to get things as opened up as possible, because there are fragments of timing belt all over the place, and I need to really clean up and be able to see as much of the belt path as possible. Normally, I use lock carrier -> service position for maintenance, but this is damage cleanup and assessment. It's not like the TB just snapped- it's really chewed up and ripped apart. There was one idler pulley that I thought was seized, but when I reached through the fan blades to turn it, a whole bunch of TB fragments fell out and it began to turn as normal. So, I'm looking for as many angles as possible for both visual and manual access.
