Hi guys, 90% done with my 4-spoke MSFW to 3-spoke w/ paddle shifters...wirings done, routing etc..

but this stupid 5 pin wire with male end doesnt look like it connects to the 3 spoke paddle wheel (only to a msfw one). The paddle shifter steering wheel has a fitment female connector input for a 3 pin, as shown here (hidden behind the metal, but it's there), and obviously a 5pin doesnt fit a 3 pin...

my current wheel has a clock spring with the wire i want, WITH a 3 pin connector too. sounds wire hookup i need..but..(always a but)

its stuck in there..Tried pliers etc and last resort i dont want to crack the plastics to separate the wire from the MSFW self.C. Ring and lose this unit altogether...

Would anyone know how to PROPERLY remove this wire from the clock spring so that i can try the swap? OR....if they sell this part alone from the $400+ spring, that would be awesome too...etka shows a part but no detail on this wire =(

we've tried using flatheads etc to get it out/ and or possible clip depress locations... i hate plastics.

or if the self c. ring that i bought in a package you think is not meant for this wheel and thats why it isn't mating up.....

    TIA guys
