but my vehicle is a A6 C5 and the location of the evap purge valve is different.

Does anyone have a pic of the location of the evap purge valve and carbon cannister on this vehicle?

I believe I found it and the voltages and ohms matched up but I want to be certain that is the right valve i was measuring.

If it is the right valve. What other suggestions do you guys have?

I also have a VAG-COM. Can anyone recommend any tests to run?
