...that reminds of the old Quantums. These where some of the first VAG cars with in-tank pumps. VAG saved a nickle on a cheaper clamp, and often the hose would blow off the pump. The pump would continue to run happily, just circulating fuel in the tank. Customers were always very happy to pay tow bill and two hours labor to have a 50 cent clamp replaced.
