    I for one pay the difference, the extra $ per tank is worth it to me for HP and Reliability

    But I never fill up with 93 in the ghetto, who knows how long that fuel has been down there. Plus, higher octane fuel, as I understand it, is beneficial to maintain a clean throttle body/injectors/head. If I still had access to it, I'd run Trick fuel through the tank once in a while to give it an extra kick. 6years ago it was $5/gal, who knows what it would be now.
