I was at a local porsche tuner (Imagine Auto) having my oil changed and asked about a 996 turbo being refitted with larger turbo's. Owner is going for 1000 hp in an attempt at 220 mph. Presently 700-800 hp. Shop guys told me, once he hits his goal, he's selling the car. Not sure where he'll attempt such a feat. Crazy people with crazy money.

Another KC audi guy is going for a land speed record in sedan class, C4-S4. Goals are 1000 hp and 200 mph. 1000 hp from five cylindars, amazing!
