    Interior overhead light issue

Everything in the car works fine overall. No flickering or fuse 14 issues. This one is kinda funky. After driving for maybe 30 minutes, if I flick on a map light, it won't work. None of the center over head lights will. All of the controls are lit up. The sunroof, ambient lighting, and light switches themselves. The sunroof works fine also. This is the funny part. If I open and shut the door, all the lights work fine. Meaning they turn on like they are supposed to when I open the doors. They also work like normal after I close the door? So it seems like a relay or something? I searched and found some similar threads, but never really found an answer. VAG is showing nothing. Any ideas guys? Not a pressing issue at all, just kinda weird.
