The turbos aren't. Maintained very well, they last and last. But most people unintentionally abuse them. And chip them. And race them.

But the block/crank/heads are overbuilt.

Its also better on gas.

But you can almost count on doing turbos eventually. very costly. But then its done and YOU cna maintain them for another 200k.

Rest of the car is a push.

that said I love my S6. But my S4 ( 2.7t) was a very solid car.
