
It should easily hold a fully dressed Audi V8. It was actually made for heavy diesel truck engines (note the braces that hold it vertical on the back of the stand). I put the Buick on my wimpy Summit small-block stand and it started to bend the instant I took pressure off the hoist. Had to keep the engine on the hoist and a block of wood until the new one showed up.
I don't have any good photos of the engine on the stand, but you can see it here in the background. To get an idea of the length of the engine (i.e. long lever arm to bend engine stands), here's the crankshaft next to a small-block Chevy head.

It'll hold any engine you throw at it and was remarkably cheap.
