It will shift harder. Period. Higher line pressure makes it inevitable. However, there are ways to lower the pressure in some instances and raise it in others through software. I don't think anyone has completely cracked the code on this though. Last I heard several tuners are working on tip chips for modded trannys, but I haven't heard of a finished product yet. I know of one test bed S4 whose tranny is down right now, but the software sounded promising. As for IPT, I had no problems getting what I asked for from them. They were easy to work with, but at times I think some of their employees speak when they should hand the phone to someone else.
