I have awhining noise coming from either the power steering or tranny. It has been going on for a year while not getting worse. The car has the CVT and someone told me they are louder (which i dont believe)

I had the local shop flush my PS fluid and put in approved fluid. My thinking is someone put the wrong fluid in but it did not change the noise.

Any thoughts? Kind of sounds like buzzing radio feedback on a bad radio install if you know what i mena.
