We just picked up a 2000 A6 2.7 TT AWD 6 speed.
The car had just had a major overhaul(turbos, timing belt, EGT's, etc) but the front end feels a bit loose. 2 of the lower control arms are shot and I have those here, the guy bought all 4 but did not put them on. I don't think all of it is coming from the control arms. There is a lot of body roll but the car drives good, no vibrations, shakes, etc. All I want to do is tighten the roll control up a bit. I don't need coilovers or anything special, just tighten it up a bit. Front and rear sways or adjustable end links? I also want to do a HP upgrade. I've looked at several chips and am thinking of VAST since they are in Michigan where I am. I've seen claims as high as 318hp but more importantly 388ft lbs...how solid are these numbers? I've also looked into DP's but any DP's out there without cats? In Michigan we don't do emissions and I can get O2 sims. I'd be happy with near 380ft lbs of torque....will those 2 items get me there and keep things reasonable? Thanks |
