....obviously being turbocharged to start with helps, but these engines have very beefy internals and the heads flow pretty well stock.

Be advised, if your stock turbos fail it will only be a few dollars more to replace them with K04s, which are not only more capable, but more robust due to their larger internal oil passages as compared with stock K03s.
