I live in SOCAL, and I have a 99 A6 that failed smog. Code read: Main Cat Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). The Cat actually passed but it tripped a code and that is what failed the car. A friend told me it is probably the o2 sensors, as the car has 186,000 on it and they have not been changed. Anyway, I need to find someone that can hook my car up to a computer and "set run readiness codes". Does anyone know where I can take my car and not have my leg sawed off to get the work done(cheap)? I live in south Orange county, half way between LA and San Diego. PLEASE HELP
