I have been looking for quite sometime trying to find possible cheaper solution to our A6 aging cluster issue, that Audi doesn't want to recall for whatever reasons, cost savings.
I have been getting more frustrated with my cluster. I have taken apart dozen times, trying to find part number of the middle display. Through help from friend who works in Siemens he was able to contact the manufacture that Siemens deals with , he contacted them if they are willing to sell the LCD's alone, they can't, due to some legal issues, but they gave to my friend a contact to company who operates in Germany called Digital Tuning Service, and they are under this site name

They are repairing all kinds of cluster related issues, I have contacted them and the cost is 175 euro to replace this middle LCD screen, with 2 year warranty, one problem it has to be shipped there, estimated cost added of 50-60 euro so for around ~ 230 euro we can have our cluster repaired. No need to reprogram or loose any mileage, everything stays the same . this is not bad, to what the local dealership charges these days around 1300 for new cluster...
