Coincidentally(sp) I am running 600 to the speakers and 1000 to the sub. w/ a 1 farad cap (1/0awg to the batt.). If I am idling I can watch the needle dip at 3/4 volume(rap). Amps are all at or under 75%. If I raise the idle at all it's not noticable. That's why I say 2 should be good.
