Default Another Radio Code question - I HAVE the code

Hello. I posted my question a few weeks ago, but wasn't clear on my situation. My battery died, and my Bose Symphony is stuck in SAFE mode. I do have the radio code, but have never had the opportunity to use it, as my radio seems frozen in SAFE and will not go to 0000 when I hold down the RBDS and PSCAN buttons.

I have tried disconnecting my battery for several hours to see if that would "re-reset" my stereo, but as you can guess, that didn't work.

Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts as to how I can get some freakin' music back in my commute (note: I have a terrible voice).

Thank you for any advice you may have.

Default Drive around for an hour or just run the car

Then it will unlock... Don't leave it in accessory unless you want your battery to die again.. Damn Audi Dealer kept me waiting an hour and 15 mins, then when they tried they were like "Um battery died"

I'm thinkin who the hell runs the car in accessory for an hour with the radio on and a gps plugged in. They claim they do it all the time

Must leave the ignition on for 1 hour. Radio on. It will reset and allow you to enter the code.

Default Actaully, you only have to have the key IN the ignition, and the headunit powered on...

The key does not need to be in the 'on' position to unlock the radio, but needs to be in. If you open the door, and the chime rings, that'll do.

Default I was also able to get mine to reset by unplugging the radio completely overnight.

The key-in-ignition/power-on trick wasn't working for me, so I pulled the thing out of the car and left it overnight. In the AM, I hooked it back up and was able to enter the code.

Default Before you ask the same question again, please read your own post & responses

Have you ever tried what everyone suggested last time? Maybe you've tried but nothing in your new post mentioned anything about leaving the car "ON" for an hour. What's the point of asking a question if you're not gonna listen?<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/677450.phtml">READ</a></li></ul>

As long as the radio doesn't auto-power off. Whatever works. Manual says key on.
