Default As there is an end of year rush on new AW memebers to the C5 board, some quick help

Welcome Noob's to the Winter Semester of AW 101! A few things to remember:
1. Before posting a question/comment/video, at least read other posts on the first page.
2. After reading those posts, use the "search" function to see if your question is answered already. <a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/twovettes/head_search.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
3. If you are replying to a post, erase the header and write a new one with your reply. If the post fits on that line, no need to type in the message area.
4. If you see this: <a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/twovettes/nt.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a> there is no need to click into the post, as there is no text in the message box unless you also see <a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/twovettes/pic.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a> for a picture, or <a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/twovettes/url.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a> for a link.
5. Enjoy your time here! I can assure you you will be addicted to the great advice and great people on the board. There is a wealth of knowledge here that has been invaluable to me personally.<ul><li><a href="http://sonolithics.com/files/a6_links.html">Stoney's Links - Any mod or anything related to your new to you C5 A6</a></li></ul>

That is very good. That should be listed permanently under the drop down at the top.

Lots of the other forums have "stickies" for forum rules, typically labeled "read this first!"

Default Odd to me, but I figured these newer young guns would ace the techno part of newness whereas older

guys like me aren't so innately familiar with all the tricks and symbols. Lots of years of learning here and I make fewer boneheaded moves today, I hope!
Good advice, NJ, for sure! You get extra credit towards your GPA.

Default Yea, I think that was the goal under readers tips that most ignore. NJ's hint is more direct. Have a

safe New year BD.

Default And:dont post your first and last name, I will steal your identity!!

j/k of course, although it does seem strange to me to paste ones name over the internet. Most blurr out their license plate number because of lack of trust of their fellow AWrs. We like AW so much, yet don't trust oneanother. hmm.

I hope everyone has a happy new year!

Default I regurlarly give my name and phone to AW'ers via email. I just don't trust the web

for privacy issues, figuring some mastermind program somewhere is or will soon be scanning this place for any posted details on email, name and phone so that a company can later custom target its unwanted marketing efforts directly to each of us individually! Ha, ha.
