Default Rear Sunshade Problem

Ok so my 2.7T JUST got off warranty recently, and today I press the button to raise the rear sunshade... nothing. All I hear is a little click, the thing doesn't even try to go up. Has anybody else had this problem? It's almost as if the thing knows it just got off warranty. Any help would be appreciated!

Default Keep pressing the button. Something is stuck.

Mine worked intermittently with the same little "click" sound. Someone else on here had the same problem. Just keep pressing the button, and eventually it will go up. May have to press it a few hundred times though. Im not kidding.

When it does go up, check the frame for any pieces of plastic that have come apart. A small piece of mine had unbuttoned itself from the rest. (yes parts of it are held together by button snaps) I pushed it back in and everything has been working since (crosses fingers)

Sometimes the plastic cover/leading edge sticks.

Default mine went at 51K. After the dealer did diagnostics, it appears the motor is out. They only wanted

$1100 dollars to replace the motor and screen. Now that summer is here again (it broke last years), I am probably going to get the bentley manual (was waiting for the new version) and buy and replace it myself in all my spare time. The diagnosics consisited of bringing a power source to the sun screen motor and finding out that it want't responding vs. if a switch, fuse or such. Good luck.
