<center><img src="http://www.bimmerboard.com/members/johngoga/original/keys.jpg"></center><p>Noob here...

Can you guys tell me if these are the right keys i need to remove the radio in a 2001 A6, Quattro?

What i am trying to do is change the hazard light switch since i have the famous clicking comig from it and from my understanding i have to replace that. To get that switch out do i have to remove the radio?

Thank you,

Default You don't have to remove the radio to gain access to the hazard light switch assembly...

Remove the the face plate that covers the the hazard light switch by using 2 small flat faced screw drivers on one side and gentle pry the cover outwards. That will give you access to the hazard switch.

The hazard switch itself is held in place by 2 retaining springs on each side. You will have to use the small screw drivers and try to wedge them on each side of the switch to depress the springs so that the switch will slide out. Then it's a matter of disconnecting the connector from the switch.

Hope this helps.

Default Here you go.....

Very easy. Just be careful popping off that trim piece.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/91515.phtml">Hazard Relay removal</a></li></ul>
