Default Possible solution for the ABS module failure epidemic

This might be filed under "too-good-to-be-true" but I'm desparate. I did an AW search on this topic and last year someone mentioned a company called ModuleMaster.com rebuilds these units.

Has anyone had experience with rebuilt ABS modules (either local or mail order)?

According to the MM website, the Bosch module for the A6 runs $295 (part only obviously), compared to the $2,800, which includes labor, the dealer is quoting for a "new" unit (yes, there is only one dealer in my town). Labor is expected to be about an hour - so thats about 3 hours minimum for me.

If rebuilding is really legit, I will name my next child after the company. Thanks for any advice or comments.
