I just installed my pre-amp and equalizer for my mp3 device (works great!), but I'm running a ghetto wire into the cab to tap power from the cigarette lighter in the back seat. Is there anywhere in the trunk where I can tap into 12VDC that's linked to the ignition? The new hardware sucks a little bit of juice even when the stereo is not on, so if I accidently left it on for more than a day or so without starting the car, it might drain the battery. Besides, wiring it into an ignition circuit or remote on from the head-unit is just the *right* way to do it.

Pin 14 at your telephone control module connector is "75X", AKA load control, AKA power supplied in switch "ON" only, not "OFF" or "START". Looks to be only a 20 AWG wire though.

Where would I find this "telephone control module"?

There is a big rectangular connector and an antenna connector hidden back there, kind of like cd changer plugs are. The big black connector is what you will need. If you have the OEM phone kit, then both of these will be connected to the phone control module in that cubby hole.
